Welcome to
The Asia-Pacific Regional Forum
In Singapore

GS1 Singapore extends a warm welcome to the delegates of the 2005 Asia-Pacific Regional Forum to Singapore.

This is the second time Singapore is hosting the Asia-Pacific Regional Forum and we are certainly delighted to host this very important event for our GS1 community in our country again. As we all know, the GS1 Asia-Pacific Regional Forum is an event where all the GS1 Asia-Pacific MOs will gather and network in an informal way to share and learn experiences and information from one another. Hence, it is a not to be missed event and we strongly encourage each of the Asia-Pacific MOs to join us in the event.

Though Singapore has been entrusted to host this GS1 Asia-Pacific Regional Forum at such a short notice of time due to unfortunate happenings in Bali, we will definitely try our utmost to make this event a successful one and make sure everyone of you have a memorable stay in Singapore.

We have specially selected Sentosa, Singapore's premier island resort getaway with multi-faceted appeal, teeming with events all year round to be the venue. 15 minutes from the city, it is a unique blend of leisure and recreational facilities including family attractions, sea sports, golf as well as hotel accommodation and retreats. Sentosa has a 3.2-kilometre stretch of white sand beach, and is the only location in Singapore to offer beachfront accommodation. This beautiful island is accessible by cable car, bus, taxi or car and is opened for 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Offering a variety of experiences for all ages, Sentosa is a must-visit destination for tourists and a popular recreational playground for local residents

We look forward to seeing all of you in Singapore and hope each of you will have a fruitful meeting and will bring back with you a great wealth of knowledge gained from the meeting and the unforgettable memories of Sentosa in Singapore
